Your day-to-day will look something like this:

Windows System Administrator

Do you walk a well-worn path or prefer to create your own way?  Do you have the desire to build something from the ground up and be the first of your kind in a fast-growing company? If so, Beast Code might have the perfect opportunity for you to create your own adventure.  

As Beast Code’s first Windows System Administrator, you will install, configure, operate, and maintain the company hardware and software. You will take an active role participating in technical research and development to enable innovation within Beast Code’s IT infrastructure.

Your day-to-day will look something like this:

  • Configure and deploy Windows Server, Active Directory, Virus Protection, and Data at Rest Protection

  • Maintain Windows Active Directory and Group Policy

  • Perform system monitoring of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes

  • Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups

  • Periodically deploy/patch software to employee devices

  • Investigate and troubleshoot IT issues

  • Ensure security, performance, and analyze diagnostics on all IT assets

  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures

  • Create and maintain server documentation, procedures, and diagrams

  • Implement best practices while growing and learning about the latest technologies

 

 You should bring these skills to the table:

  • 2+ years’ experience working with Windows 10 and Windows Server operating systems, specifically Windows Server 2016

  • 2+ years’ experience providing end-user onsite support

  • Knowledge of:

  • Active Directory & Domain architecture including DN

  • Networking and VLANs

  • VMWare design and implementation

  • Archival and storage media

  • Antivirus and encryption products

  • VPNs, Microsoft Office 365, and PowerShell

  • NIST Controls

Background in deploying Windows Server capabilities (VPN, RADIUS, WSUS, Hyper-V, GPO) Excellent troubleshooting, diagnosis, and analytical skills.

Beast Code is on the hunt for a talented Software Test Engineer Intern who is ready to roll up their sleeves and dig into real world problems. This isn’t the type of internship where you’ll be stuck in the back filing papers, instead you’ll be an active part of the team working on projects that have a real impact on the business.

Your day-to-day will look something like this:

  • Maintain and improve infrastructure for the Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline

  • Administrate git repositories

  • Support and improve CMake build scripts

  • Develop and inspect automated C++ tests

 

You should bring these skills to the table:

  • Background creating tests in C++

  • Ability to communicate what makes unit, integration, and regression tests high quality

  • Git and CMake experience

  • Experience in working with data in an SQLite database

  • Experience administering server infrastructure supporting a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline
